If there is one thing that Rajasthan can boast of, it is its rich historical, architectural, cultural, and traditional legacy. The Rajasthan Heritage tour will take you to the beloved Taj Mahal at Agra, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri on the way to Jaipur, where you will see the ingenious Palace of Winds and the majestic Amber fort at Jaipur.

Frescoed Havelis at Mandawa, Junagarh Fort at Bikaner, Jaisalmer Fort, the famous Sam sand dunes, and alluring Mehrangath Fort at Jodphur - all hold a special place in the study of Rajasthan's heritage. You can even make a booking for a royal dinner at the Ummaid Bhawan Place to witness the legendary regal hospitability of the former royalty.

Daywise Itinerary:

Day 01: Abroad / Delhi
Arrival in Delhi .You will be greeted at the airport by our TNS executive who will assist you to the hotel from railway station/airport .Reach hotel where our executive will assist you to complete the formalities in the hotel. After your formalities are completed you will be briefed about your travel plan for the next ten days of your tour and a travel kit will be handed over to you which contain your hotel vouchers and some travel documents for your tour.

Over night stay at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi
Enjoy your break fast in the hotel. Then proceed to explore the mysteries of Delhi with our TNS escort . You will start your start your sightseeing from old Delhi.

Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad, Visiting the great Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Built in the year 1656 AD by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest & best known mosque in India. Later we take a rickshaw ride through Chandi Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar to reach Red Fort, built in the year 1648 by Shah Jehan.

After your sightseeing of old Delhi. Enjoy the delicious cuisine of Delhi in your lunch. After your lunch .Proceed for sight seeing of New Delhi.

In New Delhi, we visit Raj Ghat, memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948. Further we drive past India Gate, memorial built in the year 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers who died in these wars are inscribed on the walls. President's House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931. Until 1950 it was known as Viceroy's House & served as the residence of the Governor-General of British India.

We will also visit Humayun's Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The complex is a World Heritage Site & the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Qutub Minar, built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Qutub Minar & its monuments are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The day ends after your sight seeing .Back to the hotel .over night stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Delhi - Mandawa (By surface: 250 KM - 5 Hours)
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Drive to mandawa

The medieval Fort of Mandawa gradually rises on the horizon like a mirage. A breathtaking view of the town can be seen from the terrace of Castle Mandawa. Precious collection of arms with jade handles, traditional ceremonial costumes can be seen at the Museum at the Castle.

Reach mandawa .Check in at the hotel. Then proceed for a walking tour of the havelis in mandawa of some of the leading business families of the country. Though they no longer live here, the local caretakers are happy to show the visitors around. Chowkhani Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Lakshmi Narayan Ladia Haveli, Mohahanlal Saraf Haveli and Bhagchandika Haveli are of special interest. Spend the major part of the day looking into frescoes.

Day 04: Mandawa - Bikaner - Gajner (By surface: 180 KM - 4 Hours)
Have a leisurely break fast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel .Drive to Bikaner which is a drive of around three hours from mandawa.

The royal fortified city with a timeless appeal. Lying in the north of the Desert State, the city is dotted with many sand dunes. Bikaner retains the medieval splendor that pervades the city's lifestyle.

Reach Bikaner. Check in at the hotel. Then proceed for half day sightseeing of Bikaner. Start your sightseeing with junagarh fort.

Rao Bika Ji, a descendant of Jodha Ji - the founder of Jodhpur, founded this desert town in the North of the state in 1488. Visit the Junagarh Fort, constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul Emperor Akbar's army. The city is known for its step wells so visit one ancient well and then the famous KARNI MATA temple.

Relax in the evening.

Overnight will be at Bikaner.

Day 05 : Gajner - Jaisalmer (By surface: 333 KM - 7 Hours)
After your break fast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Drive to Jaisalmer.

Jaisalmer is called as the golden city of India due to its forts and havelis, sand dunes, camel safaris .The heritage of the city reflects its cuisine, garments and the festivals.

Reach Jaisalmer .Check in at the hotel. Then proceed for sightseeing to the magnificent fort of Jaisalmer .The massive structure stand tall amidst the sand .Generally made of stone locally known as sonar quilla . Go for a walking tour among the narrow lanes where the carved havelis like patwon -ki- havelis, nathman -ki- havelis are situated.

After your sightseeing .Get back to the hotel.

Over night stay at Jaisalmer

Day 06: Jaisalmer
Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel. Then proceed for a full day camel safari among the sand dunes. Sand dunes are a treat to watch in Jaisalmer .Enjoy your camel ride in the sand dunes.

Evening proceed to the sand dunes to watch the sunset in the desert .Enjoy your dinner beside a Rajasthani folk dance.

Over night stay at Jaisalmer.

Day 07: Jaisalmer - Luni (By surface: 320 KM - 7 Hours)
Enjoy your break fast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel.

Drive to Luni in Rajasthan is a charming village near Jodhpur and is a living example of Rajasthan's royal past.

Reach luni. Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure.

Day 08 : Luni - Udaipur (By surface: 290 KM - 6 Hours)
Enjoy your break fast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Drive to Udaipur the Venice of east.

Udaipur was founded in the year 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh after his final unsuccessful attempt to defend the Mewar capital, Chittorgarh from the invading Mughals under Emperor Akbar. The Kingdom of Mewar was considered the most respectable among all Princely states in Rajasthan & still remembered for the courage to protect the Kingdom.

Reach Udaipur. Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure. Evening proceed to the lake for a boat ride.

Over night stay at Udaipur.

Day 09: Udaipur - Deogarh (By surface: 165 KM - 3 Hours)
Enjoy your break fast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Drive to deogarh

The village in itself is a major attraction. The houses with thatched roofs and fresco-adorned walls make for a beautiful sight. The Deogarh Mahal is the biggest tourist attraction of Deogarh.

Reach deogarh which will be a drive of around three hours from Udaipur. Check in at the hotel. Then proceed for sightseeing of the deogarh fort famous for its paintings, havelis and etc.

Evening is for leisure.

Day 10 : Deogarh - Pushkar (By surface: 180 KM - 4 Hours)
Enjoy your break fast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Drive to Pushkar which will be a drive of around four hours from deogarh. Reach pushkar. Check in at the hotel. Then proceed for sightseeing to the only Brahma temple on the world.

After your sightseeing. Get back to the hotel. Evening is for leisure.

Day 11 : Pushkar - Jaipur
Enjoy your break fast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Drive to jaipur the pink city of India.

A favourite of travellers, the architecturally flamboyant capital of Rajasthan is often referred to as the 'Pink City'. Enjoy a visit to the City Palace, the Amber Fort and Jantar Mantar, a medieval astronomical observatory.

Reach Jaipur. Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day will be for leisure.

Day 12 : Jaipur
After your break fast in the hotel. Then Start your day with an excursion to Amber Fort & Palace, located 12 kilometers from the center of the City. The Fort was originally built by Raja Mansingh and is one of the finest examples of Rajput architecture. Enjoy the ascent to the palace on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant. Visit the chambers and hallways of the Palace which are famous for their design and decorations .

Later we visit the City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. The center of the palace is a seven-storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens & the city. Further we visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory), an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date. We also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied structure of pink sandstone. It was built in the year 1799 so that veiled royal women could peer down the busy street market unseen by the world through its 593 stone Jharokas (mini windows).

Day 13 : Jaipur - Agra (By surface: 230 KM - 5 Hours)
Enjoy your break fast in the hotel .Check out from the hotel. Drive to the former Mughal capital of India enroute fatehpursikri visiting Fatehpur Sikri en-route - often called the ghost city, built by Akbar the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire, Fatehpur Sikri was mysteriously abandoned.

Reach Agra. Then proceed for sightseeing of the taj mahal symbol of eternal love, which stands on the banks of River Yamuna. It was built by the 5th Mughal emperor, Shah Jehan in the year 1631 in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It was completed in 22 years. Further we visit Agra Fort, taken over from the Lodhis by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. The Fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. It was built from red sandstone, often inlaid with white marble & intricate decorations. After your sightseeing .Get back to your hotel.

Day 14 : Agra - Delhi (By surface: 210 KM - 4 Hours)
Have your breakfast in the hotel .Check out from the hotel. Drive to Delhi.

Reach Delhi. Spent your time that pursues the most in New Delhi.

Day 15 : Delhi - Departure
After your break fast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your onwards destination journey.
