Rajasthan Historical Tour takes you on a journey of bygone days in the royal land of Rajputs. Mehrangarh Forts magnificence and Rajputana architectural style of Chanwa Fort at Luni are the tribute to the splendor of Rajasthan's past rulers. Villages around Luni mark an important historical event that made an example of the exceptional love of Bishnoi tribe for Nature. Dhamli is one of the few small villages that reminisce old-world charm of Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Tour also covers Deogarh's hilltop fort and cave temples and other historical delights of Rajasthan.

Daywise Itinerary for Rajasthan Historical Tours:

Day 01 : Abroad - Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Meet and assistance on arrival and transfer from airport to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi

The drive through New Delhi includes the Embassy area (Diplomatic Enclave), government buildings, India Gate, Birla Temple, Connaught Place and past Safdarjang's Tomb (1753 AD).

Day 03 : Delhi - Jodhpur
Morning flight to Jodhpur and transfer to Hotel Umaid Bhawan Palace, a vast building where the Maharaja still maintains his residence. Afternoon visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort and see the cenotaphs of former rulers at Jaswant Thada. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 : Jodhpur - Luni (35 Kms)
Morning drive to Luni and check into Chanwa Fort Luni, an exceptional example of Rajput architecture. Afternoon village safari around Luni. See Bishnoi tribal villages and rural, Rajasthani life.

Day 05 :Luni - Dhamli (75 Kms)
Morning drive to Dhamli, a typical Rajasthani village. Stay at Beautiful Dhamli Fort.
Afternoon explore the village and see the traditional artisans at work.

Day 06 : Dhamli - Deogarh (40 Kms)

Stay one night at the Deogarh Mahal, an exquisitely restored, hilltop fort. Afternoon exploration of the typical Rajasthani village surrounding the fortress before paying an evening visit to the fascinating cave temple and a stunning view point at sunset.

Day 07 : Deogarh - Narlai (155 Kms)
Morning drive to Narlai for two nights at Rawla Narlai, a 17th century fortress gifted by Maharaj Umaid Singh to his brother in 1925 and, at the time, a hunting lodge.

Day 08 : Kumbhalgarh & Ranakpur
Morning excursion to kumbhalgarh, a massive hilltop fort surrounded by walls and comprising a maze of temples and palaces. After lunch at the Aodhi Hotel, visit some of the most impressive temples in all India; the Ranakpur Jain Temples of Ranakpur.

Day 09 : Narlai - Udaipur (160kms)

Day 10 : Udaipur - Dungarpur (120kms)
Morning visit the majestic City Palace, the lovely Sahelion Ki Bari and Jagdish Temple.
Afternoon drive to Dungarpur, a small town nestling in the Aravalli Hills. Stay two nights at the 19th centruy Udai Bilas Palace, the former royal residence, and lying on the banks of the Gaibsagar Lake.

Day 11 : Dungarpur
Morning at leisure. Afternoon drive up to the old palace to see the colourful and vibrant frescoes, exquisite miniature paintings, glass and mirror inlay work. Proceed to the top of the hill to watch the sun set over the hills.

Day 12 : Dungarpur - Udaipur - Delhi
Morning at leisure. Afternoon drive to Udaipur in time to board connecting flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to international airport for flight to the next destination.

Day 13 : Delhi - Abroad
Early morning flight to next destination.
