Daywise Itinerary for Colourful Rajasthan Tours:

Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Arrival in Delhi .You will be greeted at the airport by our TNS executive who will assist you to the hotel from railway station/airport .Reach hotel where our executive will assist you to complete the formalities in the hotel. After your formalities are completed you will be briefed about your travel plan for the next ten days of your tour and a travel kit will be handed over to you which contains your hotel vouchers and some travel documents for your tour.

Rest of the day will be at leisure. Spent your time that pursues the most in Cochin.

Over night stay at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi
Enjoy your break fast in the hotel. Then proceed to explore the mysteries of Delhi with our TNS escort. You will start your start your sightseeing from old Delhi.

Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad, Visiting the great Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Built in the year 1656 AD by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest & best known mosque in India. Later we take a rickshaw ride through Chandi Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar to reach Red Fort, built in the year 1648 by Shah Jehan.

After your sightseeing of old Delhi. Enjoy the delicious cuisine of Delhi in your lunch. After your lunch .Proceed for sight seeing of New Delhi.

In New Delhi, we visit Raj Ghat, memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948. Further we drive past India Gate, memorial built in the year 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers who died in these wars are inscribed on the walls. President's House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931. Until 1950 it was known as Viceroy's House & served as the residence of the Governor-General of British India.

We will also visit Humayun's Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The complex is a World Heritage Site & the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Qutub Minar, built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Qutub Minar & its monuments are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The day ends after your sight seeing .Back to the hotel .over night stay at Delhi

Colourful Rajasthan Tours, Rajasthan Colorful Holiday TourDay 03: Delhi - Agra (By Surface 210 KMS. - 4 Hours)
Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Then drive to Agra which is a five hours drive from Delhi. Reach Agra . Check in at the hotel . Then Proceed for sightseeing of Taj Mahal the symbol of love. Enjoy a tanga ride while you go to Taj Mahal.

We'll visit Taj Mahal, symbol of eternal love, which stands on the banks of River Yamuna. It was built by the 5th Mughal emperor, Shah Jehan in the year 1631 in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It was completed in 22 years. Further we visit Agra Fort, taken over from the Lodhis by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. The Fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. It was built from red sandstone, often inlaid with white marble & intricate decorations .

We will also visit Sikandara, Akbar's tomb. His son Jahangir completed the construction of the tomb in the year 1613. Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb, built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628. It belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghiyas-ud-Din Beg. He was the Wajir (Chief Minister of Emperor Jehangir). This white marble tomb was. This tomb was the first complete marble Mughal structure .

Have your dinner .Back to the hotel.

Overnight Hotel at Agra.

Day 04: Agra - Jaipur (By Surface 230 KMS. - 5 Hours)
Drive to enroute fatehfur-sikri. The deserted, red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar built that as his capital and palace in the late 16th century is an exhilarating experience. It a veritable fairytale city and its "ruins" are in pristine condition ... it's not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur. The city was abandoned by the emperor due to scarcity of water .Also visit the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world.

After your visit from fatehpursikri. Drive to Jaipur.

Jaipur popularly known Jaipur popularly known as Pink City, the flamboyant & colourful capital of Rajasthan. With its rich & colourful past, resplendent with tales of valour & bravery, it is now one of the most important heritage cities in India.

Reach Jaipur. Check in at the hotel

Day 05: Jaipur
After your break fast in the hotel. Then Start your day with an excursion to Amber Fort & Palace, located 12 kilometers from the center of the City. The Fort was originally built by Raja Mansingh and is one of the finest examples of Rajput architecture. Enjoy the ascent to the palace on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant. Visit the chambers and hallways of the Palace which are famous for their design and decorations .

Later we visit the City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. The center of the palace is a seven-storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens & the city. Further we visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory), an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date. We also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied structure of pink sandstone. It was built in the year 1799 so that veiled royal women could peer down the busy street market unseen by the world through its 593 stone Jharokas (mini windows).

Overnight stay at Jaipur.

Day 06: Jaipur - Jodhpur (By Surface 324 KMS. - 7 Hours)
Have a leisurely breakfast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Drive to the blue city of India which is popularly known as Jodhpur.

The second largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was formerly the seat of a princely state of the same name, the capital of the kingdom known as Marwar. Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination, featuring many palaces, forts and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar desert .

Reach Jodhpur. Check in at the hotel. Then proceed to visit the magnificent mehrangarh fort .The most magnificent fort in Jodhpur is the Mehrangarh Fort. It is situated on a 150m high hill. Rao Jodha, the then chief of Rathore clan, constructed it in 1459. There are a number of attractions within the fort like several palaces, galleries, a museum, temples and so on

Evening is for leisure. Spent time hopping around the nearby markets.

Day 07: Jodhpur - Udaipur (By Surface 266 KMS. - 5 Hours)
Have your break fast in the hotel . Check out from the hotel . After we drive to Udaipur,

Udaipur was founded in the year 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh after his final unsuccessful attempt to defend the Mewar capital, Chittorgarh from the invading Mughals under Emperor Akbar. The Kingdom of Mewar was considered the most respectable among all Princely states in Rajasthan & still remembered for the courage to protect the Kingdom. The site for Udaipur was chosen for its natural beauty, abundant water & natural protection afforded by the surrounding forests & Aravali mountains. It is set on the edge of three lakes & also known as the "City of Lakes & Palaces". Undoubtedly one of the most romantic cities in India, its beautiful Palaces are mirrored in the calm waters of Lake Pichola & the city is a brilliant kaleidoscope of narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces & temples.

Later we continue our drive to Udaipur,

Reach Udaipur Check in at the hotel .Rest of the day is for leisure. Evening proceed for a boat ride in the lake pichola .

Over night stay at the Udaipur .

Day 08: Udaipur
Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel. After your break fast in the hotel .Proceed for sight seeing .

Start your city tour from City Palace, an intriguing collection of buildings contributed by various Maharanas (Kings) after Udai Singh & built in the year 1725. The magnificence of the Palace starts right from its entrance at the northern Tripolia Gate that brings us to the central courtyard, the best place to view the facade of filigreed balconies & ornate cupola-topped towers. Sahelion ki Bari (Garden of Maids of Honour) is an ornamental garden built by Maharana Sangram Singh for his daughter & the Ladies of the Queen's court. He built the garden with several fountains, pools & is decorated with chiselled pavilions & elephants. The fountains worked on the unique hydraulic technique devised in the year 1700 AD & work till today.

Later we visit Jagdish Temple, the Indo-Aryan temple, built in the year 1651 AD by Maharana Jagat Singh, is the largest & the most beautiful temple of Udaipur with noteworthy sculpted images. We also enjoy boat ride on Lake Pichola, the beauty of the lake is enhanced by the surrounding hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats & embankments. The Jag Niwas (Lake Palace) & Jag Mandir, the two island palaces on the lake look like pearls in the lake.

In the evening we go for a boat ride in pichola lake.

Overnight stay at Udaipur.

Day 09: Udaipur
Enjoy a leisurely break fast in the hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure .Spent most of the time that pursues the most in Udaipur. Spent your time in the near by markets

Over night stay at Udaipur.

Day 10: Udaipur - Pushkar (By Surface 302 KMS. - 6 Hours)
After a leisurely breakfast in the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Drive to Pushkar

Amongst the grandeur of Rajasthan, discover a unique gem - Pushkar. Lord Brahma - the creator of the world in a search for his abode on earth, performed the supremely spiritual VEDIC YAGNA at Pushkar

Reach Pushkar. Check in at the hotel. Then proceed to visit to the temples. Proceed for sightseeing to the temples in Pushkar.

After your sightseeing get back to the hotel. Evening is for leisure.

Day 11: Pushkar - Kishangarh - Delhi (By Surface 407 KMS. - 7 Hours)
