Jaipur’s "Jal Mahal" To Be Opened From October For Tourism and Common People
Plan your next trip to Jaipur in the month of October for a new refurbished destination added to admire. Jaipur’s popular tourism spot, ‘Jal Mahal’ will now be thrown open to the public from the first week of October after undergoing heritage restoration, conservation and new designing from the Jal Mahal Resorts Pvt Ltd. Our diaries came to know that JMRPL had spent about Rs 50 crore on upgrading the famous Jal Mahal monument and Manasagar Lake, surrounded by the Nahargarh hills. The lake that was previously in a bad shape now boasts of clean water and aquatic life. As many as 40 specially designed boats would carry tourists to the ‘Jal Mahal’ for sightseeing and boating at just Rs 25 per person.

Jal Mahal located in the middle of the Manasagar Lake in Jaipur city, consists of five-storied building out of which first 4 floors are under the lake and only the top floor is seen above the lake. JMRPL is also working on Rs 500-cr water ecology restoration and tourism development project called ‘Jal Tarang’ on the banks of Manasagar Lake.
